This is the story of the wildlife and people of the Zambezi, Africa’s extraordinary shape-changing river.

Episode 2: “Danube” premieres Wednesday, October 5 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, October 9 at 3 p.m. on KPBS TV + October 9 at 8 p.m. on KPBS 2 – Europe’s mighty and majestic Danube, full of glorious riches and magical surprises, is the most international river in the world. See how his epic journey is one of a kind – featuring breathtaking secret tributaries, baby turtles and a kayaker on a waterfall.

Episode 3: “Yukon” premieres Wednesday, October 12 at 8 p.m. & Sunday, October 16 at 3 p.m. on KPBS TV + October 16 at 8 p.m. on KPBS 2 – Remote and wild, the Yukon is a river of extremes. A restless giant in summer and a river of ice in winter. Home to bear, moose and salmon, the Yukon’s wealth has sustained North American people for centuries.
