Realme has unleashed the 10 Pro on the possibly unsuspecting Chinese market during the OEM’s latest launch event. Unexpectedly, its new mid-series Android device has been unveiled with a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD screen like many in its market segment.
However, according to Realme, it’s a substantially updated variant that incorporates the necessary manufacturing processes to make its bezels thicker than 1 millimeter (mm) on its sides. Realme boasts (reasonably enough) that it generally enhances UX through screen-to-body ratio and a “Broad field of view” – However, the device still has a noticeable chin.
The 10 Pro’s display also has a 30-120Hz variable refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It’s also the only smartphone in its line with a Qualcomm processor: the Snapdragon 695 is also tasked with being one of the first SoCs to run Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0.
The Pro has dual cameras on the back, one of which is the ISOCELL HM6, which is rated for superior low-light performance and up-to-date options such as tilt shift, portrait mode and AI-enhanced selfies (then again , Realme has limited it to 1080p/30fps video output). Its presence may be welcome among potential buyers, as the other lens has a mere 2MP shooter.
Both lenses come in their own big camera rings, to match the 10 and 10 5G on the back. In the body of their Pro counterpart is an almost indispensable 5,000mAh battery, charged at 33W with the power brick that still comes with it in its box.
Externally, the 10 Pro has the same “Hyperspace” finishes (in the form of “Starlight” SKUs) with the 10 Pro Plus, along with Ocean (an icy gradient with a different, wavy light-bending effect) and Night (wavy black). Directly on 256GB of internal storage. Go, which is available with 8GB or 12GB of RAM.
These enhanced options are now available for pre-order on Realme’s Chinese web store for 1,599 to 1,899 yuan ($223-265). Hopefully this level of affordability will translate to the 10 Pro’s almost certain upcoming global release.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; However, he had some experience in the field of biotech, which convinced me of his potential to revolutionize health, the environment and lives in general. This evolved over time into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech: I can never write enough about the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and all sorts of things. Oh, and coffee.
