The Prince and Princess of Wales enjoyed a family trip to Lapland, UK with their eldest two Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Prince William and Kate, both 40, were spotted leaving the Ascot-based Christmas theme park by an eagle-eyed fan who shared a photo of the royal couple on Instagram.

The royal couple were pictured with George, nine, and Charlotte, seven, as well as their Norwegian nanny Maria Theresa Turion Borralo. It is unclear if Prince Louis, four, was also with them for the outing.

Looking low-key, Kate opted for a brown wrap coat teamed with brown Chelsea boots and a navy beanie hat, while William wore blue jeans, a padded jacket and a matching green flat hat.

Charlotte, dressed in a blue jacket and red trousers, George and William all carried a toy in their arms as they left the festive attraction in December.

Meanwhile, George donned a blue coat, jeans and a patterned hat for the outing with his parents at the Christmas theme park, which features a toy factory, magical forest and reindeer.

News of their jaunt comes after the family spent Christmas at Sandringham with King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla and the rest of the royal family.

Kate beamed as she held the hand of her youngest son, four-year-old Prince Louis, as she walked alongside William, George and Charlotte down the path to St Mary Magdalene Church on Norfolk Estate on Christmas Day.

The mother-of-three looked typically chic in a festive, upcycled coat, believed to be by British designer Alexander McQueen.

She teamed the statement outfit with a Philip Treacy hat featuring a feather and statement earrings from French brand Sézane as the team headed into service.

The thrifty royal recycled the military-style coat to attend an engagement at Bradford Town Hall in January 2020, shortly after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were stepping back from senior royals.

For the Christmas outing, the Princess teamed her structured coat with bespoke black knee-high boots by Gianvito Rossi.

She wore her thick brunette locks down and over her shoulders, away from her face and opted for minimal make-up to enhance her natural beauty.

The Princess of Wales beamed with happiness as she walked into the service with her husband, ahead of other members of the royal family.

She looked stylish in her festive get-up as she waved to well-wishers who traveled to Norfolk.

It was the royal family’s first Christmas at Sandringham in two years after the late Queen stayed at Windsor for the 2020 and 2021 festive season due to the coronavirus pandemic – and the first time the family has spent the holidays without the late monarch.
