Married at first sight heads to Nashville, Tenn., for its sixteenth season, where 10 singles will spend their journey to meet the potential loves of their lives during this 23-episode season.
As usual, couples will marry a complete stranger, travel on their honeymoon, and then move in together as husband and wife. After completing the 8-week social experiment, each newlywed must come to terms with the harsh truth of their marriage situation and make a life-changing decision: stay married and start a future together, or get a divorce and to go their separate ways.
Ahead of its premiere Married at First Sight, Fun Tonight‘small Kevin Fraser will host MAFS: Matchmaking Special on December 28 at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime, where viewers will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the intense process that goes into matching five Nashville couples who will get married at first sight.
Then on December 29th, there will be a second Lifetime special, MAFS: Special Launch, during which Frazier will discuss and discuss the five Nashville couples who are set to get married at first sight with a panel of super fans and get their predictions as to what decisions each couple will make on Decision Day. In addition, ex MAFS Favorites will reveal updates about their current lives and relationships.
After the season 16 premiere at 10 p.m. ET on January 4, Keshia Knight Pulliam will host Married at First Sight: Afterpartyduring which it will take the inner scoop directly from the cast.

Dr. Pepper Schwartz
Dr. Pepper Schwartz is Professor of Sociology at the University of Washington. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Washington University in St. Louis, and her Master of Philosophy and Ph.D. in Sociology from Yale University. He is currently Chair of the Advisory Board for the Ph.D in sexuality studies at the Institute for Integrative Studies in San Francisco. She is also Chair of the Intimacy and Aging study group at Stanford University’s Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences, as well as a senior fellow and board member of the Council on the Modern Family and the author of 22 books.
