As he throws soccer balls, she casts shadows.
Gisele Bundchen appeared to very publicly hint at her ongoing marital feud with Tom Brady via a revealing Instagram comment.
Author and former Hindu monk Jay Shetty shared some words of wisdom on social media on Tuesday, posting a quote that read: “You can’t be in a committed relationship with someone who doesn’t agree with you. Read that again.”
Shetty, 35, added in the post’s caption: “Love is a daily effort. Some days it might be easier than others and that’s okay, but what should always remain is the respect and admiration you have for your partner’s values and goals 🙏.”
Bundchen, 42, “liked” and took to the post’s comments section, dropping a simple praying hands emoji and signaling that she agreed with the life coach’s message about the values of a partner.
Page Six exclusively reported last week that both Bundchen and Brady, 45, have hired divorce lawyers as their 13-year marriage falls apart.
Multiple sources told us in September that the former Victoria’s Secret Angel and the NFL star had an epic falling out over not wanting to give up his football career despite a brief retirement earlier this year.
“There was trouble in the marriage over his decision not to retire. Gisele was always the one with the kids,” an insider told us at the time, adding, “They agreed that he would retire and focus on family, then he changed his mind.”
Other sources said it was too little too late as the relationship was irreparable.
“[Gisele] is done with her marriage,” an insider told People last week. “She’s been upset about it for a long time and it’s still difficult, but she feels like she has to move on. She doesn’t think her marriage can be fixed.”
The source added that Bundchen is “doing fine” and hasn’t had much contact with Brady.
“She’s just trying to make sense of her life,” the insider said.
Brady and Bundchen, who live separately, share son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9. Brady also has a 15-year-old son, Jack, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Bundchen has been open about her marital woes, admitting in her September Elle cover story, “My kids and I want to [Tom] to be more present.” She added that she’s “definitely had those conversations with him over and over again.”
However, Brady has claimed that his family is just as important as football.
The quarterback and his wife married in February 2009.
