WELL WELL JERRY THE INVESTIGATION THAT WAS GOING ON HERE IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD WAS CENTERED AROUND THIS RED HOUSE HERE ON BUFORD HUNT DRIVE IN SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP THE POLICE HAVE BEEN HERE FOR THE LAST SEVERAL SEVERAL AIRS. THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY SAYS DETECTIVES WERE AT THE HOME AROUND 11 AM INVESTIGATING THE POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY ON THE INTERNET. THE DA SAYS THEY GET IN TOUCH. AND WE ARE CONVERSING IN THAT CASE WITH THE 23-YEAR-OLD SUSPECT AND THAT THE MAN HAS CONFIRMED TO THE DETECTIVES THAT A MOBILE PHONE BELONGS TO HIM. THE DA SAYS THE DETECTIVES WANTED TO KEEP THAT PHONE AS EVIDENCE AND AT THIS TIME, AFTER THE MAN REALIZED WHAT THEY WERE ATTEMPTING, THEY RETRIEVED IT AT THE HOUSE AND GET A GUN. THE DA SAYS THE DETECTIVE FOLLOWED THE MAN FURTHER INTO THE HOUSE, SAW THE CLUE POINTED AT THEM, AND THEN THEY RAN AWAY OUTSIDE THE TOWNSHIP POLICE AND ARRIVED BY THE TOWNSHIP POLITICIANS, AND THEY HEARD A SHOT. AT ONE MOMENT, THE OFFICERS ENDED UP ENTERING THE HOME, AND FOUND THAT THE MAN HAD KILLED HIMSELF. THE SITUATION AS PRECAUTION REQUESTED AUTHORITIES. THE ISSUE IS SHELTER IN PLACE, ORDER FOR NEIGHBORS. I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. AND THEN THE POLICE OBVIOUSLY SAID YOU WERE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE AND THEN YOU WON’T BE TOO CLOSE TO THE VENA AND THE DOORS JUST WENT OUT AND STAYED THERE. DO YOU KNOW? NEARBY SCHOOLS WERE ALSO ASKED TO SHELTER IN PLACE BECAUSE THE SEARCH TEAM AND POLICE WERE OUTSIDE THE HOUSE, POTENTIALLY HANDLING WHAT THEY THOUGHT WAS A DANGEROUS SITUATION. THE DEAD PERSON HAS NOT YET BEEN IDENTIFIED BY THE AUTHORITIES. THE DA’S OFFICE SAYS THE INVESTIGATION IS NOW IN THE HANDS OF THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE. IN SUSQU

A Dauphin County man took his own life after being interviewed in connection with a child pornography investigation, according to the district attorney’s office. Detectives from the DA’s Office of Criminal Investigation Division went to the man’s home on Beaufort Hunt Drive in Susquehanna Township. 11 a.m. Thursday to talk to him about acquiring child pornography on the Internet. The man confirmed that a cell phone at the center of the investigation was his, authorities said.
