THE newly opened Carlow Parent Hub will be a one-stop shop for moms and dads by offering parenting advice, programs and community support.

The new center will provide information on a variety of parenting support services, such as drop-in centers across Carlow, which offer free and confidential advice and support for parenting workshops and programs.

The Carlow Parent Hub was developed in response to feedback from parents who identified a need for a central source of information on parenting support in Co Carlow. The Hub aims to increase awareness of, and access to, parenting support and programs provided by community and statutory services. The project is supported by St Catherine’s Community Services Centre, Barnardos, Forward Steps Family Resource Centre, Tullow, Bagenalstown Family Resource Centre, Carlow Youth Service and Tusla’s Parents Coordinator.
