We’re heading into the final stretch of the 2022 college football season as Week 12 begins with another full game on the schedule. CBS Sports Network will once again be a marathon of coast-to-coast action as conference races come down to the wire and teams battle for bowl berths.

Miami (Ohio) started off Wednesday with a 29-23 win over Northern Illinois in a MACtion battle between two teams looking to bounce back from a losing streak. Then there will be four games on Saturday from noon to midnight Eastern.

The battle of the independents is on as Army looks to stay hot on UConn with the Huskies, who have just earned a bowl berth. Later in the evening, the Mountain West takes center stage with a pair of games featuring a major conference influence. Wyoming will host Boise State first in a game that could decide the Mountain Division. Finally, Fresno State travels to Nevada, where the Bulldogs try to get closer to the West Division crown, with an overnight trip.

Buffalo was scheduled to host Akron in the afternoon window, but the game was delayed due to heavy snow in the Buffalo, New York area.

Events: That will likely determine who will represent the Mountain West’s Mountain Division in the league title game. Wyoming kept its title hopes alive with a 14-13 win at Colorado State last week, while Boise State shutout Nevada State. The Broncos lead the all-time series 15-1 and have won five in a row, but this time the stakes will be higher than usual.

Events: Fresno State can take another step toward the West Division title in Mountain West play with a win over the Wolves, who are on a seven-game losing streak. First-year coach Ken Wilson’s team was competitive, but couldn’t get past the league win. The Bulldogs beat Nevada 37-30, with star quarterback Jake Haener throwing for 313 yards and three touchdowns without an interception.
