The Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing strengthens customer service

COLUMBUS – The Department of Real Estate and Professional Licensing of the Ohio Department of Commerce is pleased to announce that Ohioans can now apply online to become a new real estate seller.

The new service will be available after the division processed more than 7,000 new license applications in 2021, a 37 percent increase from 2019.

“The transition from the paper application to the online application will reduce processing time and save agents time and money. There will no longer be a need to drive to deposit checks and there will be no overnight postage,” said Superintendent Daphne Hawk. “Our division continues to leverage technology to make the customer service process more convenient for our licensees.”
